Malex Automotive was established in 2004 by Alex Moore B.A. (Hons), as an online car spares business.
The business specialised in used Ford parts, and then branched out into selling brand new motorsport accessories
and styling parts. The business grew further, and added AUTOart to it's suppliers list, and is now one of the UK's
leading online stockists of AUTOart model cars.

Due to the amount of large bulky items Malex Automotive was sending, a local delivery service was set up to
serve our local customers, originally known as MADS (Malex Automotive Delivery Service). The service proved to
be so popular it was then diversified and offered nationwide deliveries for other companies. Thus causing a name
change to reflect the fact in was no longer solely an in-house delivery service. AM Logistics was formed, the name
based on
founder Alex Moore's initials.

The logistics service grew rapidly due to our loyal customer base, quality service and reputation. Alex's brother
Thomas came on board as Transport Manager, and the partnership ATM Logistics was born.

In 2008, Malex Automotive Ltd was established, and brought Malex Automotive's online retail division, now
referred to as m-auto direct, and ATM Logistics under the same legal business entity.

Malex Automotive Ltd is under the directorship and active management of Alex and Thomas Moore, who own the
company along with a percentage of shares owned by a Moore family holding.
