| At ATM Logistics we believe in giving back to our local community and to charity, which is why we actively engage in community projects, support local efforts and donate to worthwhile causes. The main way we do this is participating in Leicestershire Constabulary's Employer Supported Policing Programme. Our managing director is a Special Constable, an unpaid but fully warranted Police Officer. Because of this, we were made aware of the programme and we will support any of our employees who volunteer their free time to help make their local community safer. This is done by allowing time off for ongoing training to carry out the role, as well as paid time whilst on duty. You may also notice that all our vans wear poppies every November, as we make a donation to the Royal British Legions Poppy Appeal. Along the same lines we have sponsored TMCR, who raised money for Help4Heroes by taking part in the Home2Rome banger rally earlier this year. Locally we also sponsor a football team that bears our name, ATM Logistics FC; and Average Jim's Dodgeball Team. |
